I'm a mom of two. My first baby was born in a hospital, the way most of us are told it should go, and it showed me how much more was possible: a calm, beautiful birth and those first quiet moments with my baby. My second was born at home, with a midwife I trusted. Same body, completely different birth. The biggest difference was where I was and how safe and loved I felt.
As my midwife Sarah always said, pregnant women need to feel loved.
That's what Born in the Nest is about.
My midwives felt a little like superheroes to me. They paid attention to everything: what I was eating, how I was sleeping, how I was really feeling, and the small things I'd never have thought to mention. Often they seemed to understand what I needed just by looking at me, before I said a word.

Why Born in the Nest exists
No one told me I had another option until my second pregnancy. I want you to know sooner.
Choosing where to give birth, and finding the right midwife or birth center, are big decisions, and I wish I'd had someone I could count on when I made them. When I was pregnant, just a message from one of my midwives could calm me down and make my whole day feel lighter. That's what I want Born in the Nest to be for you: a warm, trusted place you can come back to whenever you need it.
It isn't a one-time thing. It starts with five short lessons, and then a weekly guide through your pregnancy, the way a loving midwife would walk beside you. You're never alone on this journey. Think of it as a steady hand with you every week, all the way to the day you meet your baby.
