Who we are
Born in the Nest is a small, gentle guide to birth choices, run by HyperLaunch LLC, a Utah company. If you ever have a question about your privacy, write to me at hello@borninthenest.com. I read every message.
What we collect
Only what you give us when you sign up: your email address and, if you'd like, your first name. That's it.
Why we collect it
To send you what you asked for: the five free lessons and the weekly Sunday guide through your pregnancy. If you share your first name, we use it to say hello properly.
We never sell or share your information
Not with advertisers, not with anyone. Your details are used only to send you Born in the Nest emails.
The services we use
- Kit (formerly ConvertKit) sends our emails and keeps your email address and first name safe for us. Like most email services, Kit can tell us whether an email was opened or a link was clicked, which helps us write emails that are actually useful. Kit doesn't sell your information. You can read Kit's privacy policy and how Kit handles subscriber data.
- GitHub Pages hosts this website. Like any web host, GitHub may keep basic technical logs (such as IP addresses) to keep the site secure and running. Here's GitHub's privacy statement.
No tracking cookies
This website doesn't use analytics, advertising or tracking cookies. Even our fonts are hosted on our own site, so your visit isn't shared with font services. If that ever changes, we'll update this page first.
Unsubscribe anytime
Every email has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list, no hard feelings. You can also write to us anytime to ask what we have about you, to correct it, or to delete it, and we'll take care of it.
Education only
Born in the Nest shares education only. It isn't medical advice and doesn't replace care from your licensed midwife or doctor. Please talk to your provider about anything health-related. In an emergency, call 911.
If this page changes
We'll update the date at the top of this page.
